Kom is the king of the old gods, the battlefather and lord of storms. he was part of the new gods, a group of titans who rejected axoms total control, and was banished along with the other new gods out of the center of the universe and into the void of space. there they wandered for a millennium until the came upon kthn and decided to claim the plant as theirs. Kom created the 13 great tribes of the west and ruled as head of old gods until the rise of thuar. during Aodhán Medraut’s purge, many temples and altars of Kom were destroyed weakening him significantly but worship by the barbarians and savage races have kept him in power.


Description and Personality[edit]

Kom traditional form has the face of an old man, 6 to 7 foot tall white male with a head of a white hair and white beard, but the body of a muscular warrior. He wears bearskin fur armor and wields two war axes, Heart of the storm and Heart of battle.

Kom tries his best to keep his cool, but when angry his rage is legendary. When angered he will send severe thunderstorms and hurricanes to earth.


Worship and Followers[edit]

Kom is worshiped primarily by the northern barbarians who still see him as the king of the gods. his followers are warriors and the berserkers who view him as there patron deity. His avatars and aspects are worshiped by many orcs, goblin, and gnoll tribes. the Giants view him as there creator and worship him as the head of there paragon .the nomads worship him as Father Sky.

Altars to Kom are made of stone and have the ax rune inscribed on them, sacrifices to Kom are made on this alter and typically consist of small animals although large predators like wolfs and bears made be sacrificed for special ritual or holy days. during wartime, enemy champions are sacrificed. Temples to Kom are rare those that do exist are large longhouse or tents that contain altars to Kom and feasting tables where warriors fest in Kom’s honor after battle or sacrifice. Kom holy day is the first of the year and this is when his festivals are held.

Kom’s shamans were bear skin furs and carry bear totems. They perform sacrifices and bless warriors before combat. Kom promotes a very live and let live type of atuid and don't set many rules for his followers the only big rule that those that fallow Kom must be strong and not submit to anyone.

Enemies,Allys,and Domain[edit]

Kom chief enemy is Thuar, whose melding on earth has lead to the death of many of the old gods and the weakening of others. Kom's bother Kos (lord of all evil) is his other enemy and the two have been battling since the birth of the human race. The remaining Old Gods are Kom’s allies. Kom resides at The Heart of Storm; a floating fortress at the center of a raging storm on Tolxs. He is served by storm giants, blue dragons, and the souls of legendary warriors.
