The Gods Holy Golden Trident[edit]
The One Who is Many. The Devil with Three Heads. Whatever name the mortal races have given it, The Gods decreed its name only once from the heavens when it was given its divine purpose: King Ghidorah. It was created as the ultimate weapon by The Gods against the Planetary Elemental Spirit: Gojira, The King of the Monsters. Only a creature with the abilities of Ghidorah could kill something that cracks the earth with each step, split the skies with its roar, burn away even the gods with its fire, and use the very seas as a weapon. They have fought many times in the past, though no-one has seen them or the other Planetary Spirits, for centuries.
Fighting Fire with Lightning[edit]
Created before the True Titans like the infamous Cronos, King Ghidorah is a Titan created by the gods when the world was decided as the place for the mortal races to live upon. But when the gods began to put their own creatures and races, the world spirit fought back. It created five Titans to defend the world against foreign invaders: Methusela, Embodiment of Earth, Rodan, Embodiment of Fire, Mosura, Embodiment of Air, Na Kika, Embodiment of Water, And finally Gojira, Embodiment of all previous attributes and and the leader of them all. King Ghidorah was built with this in mind and has a suite of traits and abilities to suite. Some say that it was an actual weapon before it became the Titan, however that is just speculation.
The Devil with Three Heads[edit]
King Ghidorah is a massive three-headed, wyvern-like beast with golden scales. It is said to stand at an estimate of 500 feet tall and could easily tower over the mighty Gojira. Its elemental abilities were unmatched, as it can carry an entire hurricane with it when it flies. It could breath a magical lightning that could exert a powerful force behind it, allowing for both ranged damage and to push combatants away. It is even said that it could breathe without oxygen, though that has been a difficult thing to prove.
A Rogue Weapon[edit]
When Ghidorah was sent down to earth, it instantly seeked out Gojira and the other Planetary Elemental Spirits, but when the gods tried to command it, Ghiorah did not obey. In fact it lashed out in defiance, seeking only to kill the spirits and now the gods that would try to stop it. The Gods, knowing its power and what would happen if it was left unchecked after it completed its mission, tried to make a plan to kill it afterwards. When Ghidorah, Gojira, and the other spirits disappeared suddenly, the gods were left with empty hands. With their goal technically complete, the set off to colonize the Forgotten Realms.
The Exif Faith in the Golden Demise[edit]
The Believers of King Ghidorah are so incredibly rare that they are considered to not exist, however, evil worshipers, like the Cult of the Dragon and the Cult of Orcus, know them as "The Silent Heralds", The worshipers of King Ghidorah, also known as the Exifs, believe that their Golden Trident will wash away the lower planes with it's storm and will strike down the Demon Lords with it's Lightning. The reason that they are seldom seen is because they are all searching for King Ghidorah. Only time will tell if they'll actually find it, but all hope that the Planetary Spirits will rise to fight Ghidorah. -->
