This ritual can be performed as a martial practice, in which case the skill is Athletics instead of Arcana, the component cost is halved, but it also costs a healing surge.
The ritual or martial practice enhances your hands' kinetic power, so that your unarmed attacks are as strong as a weapon's. After performing this ritual, your unarmed attacks will count as a weapon for abilities with the Weapon keyword for the ritual's duration. Your Arcana or Athletics check at the time of performing the ritual will determine your unarmed damage. Your proficiency bonus for this unarmed weapon is +2, and it is considered a simple weapon for you. Attacks with this weapon are keyed to your choice of ability score. Extremely skilled practitioners of this ritual can even generate short range bolts of force (or ki) with their punches, extending their reach.
