Battle is not an option, it is a way of life

The first Kattin was a the result of a group of elves investigating a portal into the elemental chaos, when one ventured too closely with his panther companion, the portal snapped shut, in the space between dimensions the power of the elemental chaos swirled around him and his panther, when his elf companions looked up from the brutal loss of a comrade they found the first Kattin.

Play a Kattin if you want...

  • To mix the elemental chaos and the fey
  • To get up close and personal to your prey
  • To be fast, strong and cunning
  • To be a member of a race that favors the Monk, Assassin, and Druid classes.

Physical Qualities[edit]

Kattins resemble a humanoid short haired cat with fur in as many colors as you could find in a fey rainbow or in the whirling confusion of the elemental chaos, their faces are rather featureless replacing a normal nose with two nearly unnoticeable slits for nostrils, their mouths resembling a toothy maw, similar to certain fairy tale cats, their tails measure around 4 feet long fully stretched. Other than their loosely cat like features they resemble a muscular elf.

Playing a Kattin[edit]

Kattins are born predators, most often hunting during the day for sport and only resorting to normal hunting in times of hardship

Kattin Characteristics: Brave, Eager, Flexible, Athletic

Male Names: Deggrek, Kellis, Byinx, Tionu, Yint, Opiru

Female Names: Oinu, Rilly, Eer, Uminy, Tyake, Iisiya

Kattin Adventurers[edit]

Three sample Kattin adventurers are described below.

Byinx is a Kattin monk, rather than keeping the cool temper of most monks, Byinx is more than likely to jump into a fray, even if the odds are stacked against him. Even though he has caused his companions many hardships through his over-eagerness, they know that he is more than competent to fight his way out

Oinu is a druid, although you would be more likely to assume that she was just an intelligent wild cat, spending most of her time in wild form, she enjoys her roots to the fey panther, but fears the elemental chaos, believing it may bring out some inner evil

Yint keeps to himself, although tagging along with a group of adventurers, from him they gain his much needed assassin skill, and from them he derives a distraction so he can more easily move in for the kill
