Kaiju[edit]
Kaiju are the main antagonists of the work Kaiju No. 8. They are generally large in size and have little or no intelligence. However, among the Kaiju, there are a small group that are capable of reasoning and are comparable in size to a human, although a little taller. Because they are quite strong, these Kaijus are numbered and are also classified as Daikaiju.
Physical Description[edit]
The appearance of a Kaiju is quite variable, but they are generally humanoid in size, but slightly taller than humans. Some are capable of growing in size and still others are capable of altering their shape into a completely human form, managing to infiltrate humans.
Acceptance[edit]
As enemies of humanity, Kaiju are not well accepted among humans, being at constant war with them. They are feared by humans, but opposed by the Defense Force. However, some can live among humans, using their ability to metamorphose to become humans.
Kaiju Names[edit]
Typically, Kaiju do not have names, but there are those that are strong enough to be numbered, resulting in names such as: "Kaiju No. 8" or "Kaiju No. 9".
Kaiju Traits[edit]
A powerful and most dangerous Kaiju in humanoid form.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength, Dexterity and Constitution ability scores increase by 2. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this trait.
Age. It is not known for sure when Kaiju mature, but they can do so much faster than humans and possibly live for long centuries.
Alignment. Although it is not definitive, Kaiju tend to lean towards evil.
Size. Humanoid Kaiju are slightly taller than humans and can also have the same or much greater weight. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 40 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Natural Weapons. You have natural weapons and treat them as if you were proficient, they are the following: claws (slashing damage) and bite (piercing damage). The damage die is same as your Natural Combat feature.
Armored Skin. As a Kaiju, his skin is much tougher than that of an average human. While not wearing armor or wielding a shield, your AC is calculated by 10 + your Strength modifier or Dexterity + your Constitution modifier.
Regeneration. Kaiju have the ability to regenerate when injured. As a bonus action, you can roll 2d6 and add your Constitution modifier. You regain hit points equal to the total and regrow any severed body part. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all expended uses when finish a long rest.
Menacing. People tend to fear Kaiju, but you are unlikely to fear or be enchanted by anything. You gain proficiency in the Intimidation. Additionally, you have advantage in saving throws against to be frightened and charmed.
Enhanced Senses. Your senses are more acute than those of humans. You gain proficiency in the Perception.
Languages. You can speak, read and write Primordial and one other language of your choice.
