The kings of jötunn society reign with pride and wrath, outfitted in the bones of creatures unseen in the physical world and wielding the only jötunn-forged weapons to exist, many of which have been passed from king to king for millenia. The lineage of kings bears no direct power, as every king only becomes such by proving themself to be the strongest among their group. Many kings keep monsters viewed as terrifying from a human standpoint in the same way said humans might keep a particularly unruly dog. |
