Intuitive Mind (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Intuitive Mind
Prerequisites: Intelligence 13 or higher
You are gifted with a mind that functions very highly on a purely unconscious level, allowing you to tell "right" from "wrong" in the absence of reason and logic. You gain the following benefits:
- Increase your Intelligence score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- Whenever you are faced with a number of alternative choices, you can attempt to use your intuition. When you do so, make an Intelligence check with a DC based on the number of distinct possible choices you are aware of, as shown below. On a success, the DM tells you what the best choice for you to make is, according your personal goals and overall well-being (as interpreted by the DM). On a failure, either you have no idea or the DM will flat-out lie to you. You cannot re-use this feat on any given set of choices; further attempts will always produce the same result.
Number of Choices | DC |
---|---|
2 | 10 |
3 | 13 |
4 | 15 |
5 | 18 |
6 | 20 |
7 or more | 25 |
