Integrity[edit]

The Integrity Soul class is characterized by their steadfast adherence to principles of truth and justice. These individuals are natural leaders who use their moral clarity to guide and protect their allies. Integrity Souls often serve as the moral compass of their groups, ensuring that actions taken are just and honorable.

Making an Integrity Soul[edit]

Abilities: Wisdom and Charisma are crucial for Integrity Souls, reflecting their insight, leadership, and ability to inspire others.

Races: Any

Alignment: Any

Starting Gold: 1d12x10 gp.

Starting Age: The normal age for this class should be Moderate (such as a cleric). This ensures the character has had sufficient experience to master their abilities. Alternatively, younger characters may apply the simple age modifier (such as a rogue).

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Integrity Soul.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Integrity Souls are proficient with all simple and martial weapons, and with all types of armor and shields.

Truthseeker (Ex): This feature grants the Integrity Soul the ability to detect lies and falsehoods within 30 feet, providing a +2 bonus to Sense Motive checks.

Pure Heart (Su): Once per day at 1st level, the Integrity Soul can focus their will to gain a +2 bonus to saving throws and AC for 1 minute. This ability can be used twice per day at 5th level, with the bonus increasing to +4, three times per day at 10th level with the bonus increasing to +6, four times per day at 15th level, and five times per day at 20th level with the bonus increasing to +8.

Integrity Manifestation (Su): At 3rd level, the Integrity Soul can manifest an aura of truth within a 10-foot radius for 1 minute. Creatures within this aura cannot tell lies or deceive others.

Unwavering Resolve (Ex): At 4th level, the Integrity Soul gains a +2 bonus to Will saves and becomes immune to charm effects.

Shield of Truth (Su): At 5th level, the Integrity Soul can create a shield of truth once per day, which provides a +4 bonus to AC for 1 minute.

Unyielding Integrity (Ex): At 6th level, the Integrity Soul becomes immune to fear effects and gains a +2 bonus to Fortitude saves.

Resilient Mind (Su): At 7th level, the Integrity Soul can recover from a single mental or emotional condition once per day as a standard action.

Pillar of Honesty (Su): At 9th level, the Integrity Soul can designate one creature within 30 feet as a Pillar of Honesty. This creature gains a +2 bonus to all saving throws for 1 hour.

Aura of Integrity (Su): At 10th level, the Integrity Soul emits an aura that provides a +2 bonus to saving throws for all allies within 20 feet.

Heart of Justice (Ex): At 12th level, the Integrity Soul gains a +2 bonus to all attack and damage rolls against evil-aligned creatures.

Soul Resonance (Su): At 13th level and every 4 levels thereafter, the Integrity Soul gains a special ability that enhances their connection to the virtue of Integrity. This ability can vary and should be discussed with the DM for specifics.

Beacon of Integrity (Su): At 15th level, the Integrity Soul can shine with a brilliant light once per day, causing all evil-aligned creatures within 30 feet to become blinded for 1 round (Will save DC 10 + class level + Cha modifier to negate).

Guardian of Truth (Su): At 20th level, the Integrity Soul becomes a paragon of truth and justice. They gain DR 10/evil, a +4 bonus to all saving throws, and can cast the spell zone of truth at will.

Combat: In combat, Integrity Souls serve as frontline defenders and support characters, using their abilities to protect their allies and debilitate their enemies. They excel at bolstering their allies' defenses and weakening their foes' resolve.

Advancement: Integrity Souls often focus on improving their leadership and support abilities, such as gaining more auras or enhancing their aura effects. They may also multiclass into classes that complement their skills, such as Cleric or Paladin.

Adaptation: Variant conceptions of the Integrity Soul could include specialized archetypes focused on specific aspects of truth and justice, such as a subclass dedicated to uncovering secrets and exposing lies or a subclass focused on protecting the innocent and punishing the guilty.

Sample Encounter: The party encounters an Integrity Soul investigating allegations of corruption within the local government. They must decide whether to assist the Integrity Soul in their quest for justice or hinder their efforts for their own gain.

EL X: The encounter scenario involves the party facing off against a corrupt official and their guards who are attempting to thwart the Integrity Soul's investigation. The CR of the encounter should match the party's level for a challenging confrontation.
