Racial Description[edit]

Incubi are generally considered the gender opposite of succubi. They are born out of impure thoughts of lust from women, and created from their dreams. They thus often are lurking about young maidens, surviving off their life force. They are repellant to the opposite sex and will often try to murder lovers the girl may have. This is not to say incubi are completely dependent. They, like any fiend, can go around, making deals with glib and charming others. Their ability to change appearance is perhaps their greatest weapon at snagging a victim. They reproduce through sleeping with human females usually, though they can theoretically spawn from other humanoid races, like elves.

Play an Incubi if you want...

  • To live as a feared immortal in a mortal world
  • To lust after the finer things in life
  • To be a member of a race that favors the Sorcerer, Warlock and Rogue classes.

Physical Qualities[edit]

An incubus is only as potent as his drop-dead looks. Incubi invest a lot into looking irresistible. They are always male and usually have an appearance like that of an attractive male. Their bodies are lithe and toned, with chiseled facial features, suited to a maiden's heart. What gives them away might be slight horns on their forehead or the trademark bat-like wings from their back, though these never truly stop someone from falling for their charm. Like a succubus, incubi also have clawed digits, though they usually prefer to talk or charm their way out of a problem than fight. To keep up their appearance, most like to dress in expensive clothing to appear noble, and they will rarely carry weapons.

Playing an Incubus[edit]

Incubi are similar to succubi in that they are normally interested in money and power and anything else that can help them get it. They use their inherited powers and traits to manipulate mortal races into helping them achieve their goals however are less subtle than succubi resulting in a higher mortality rate when their evil deeds are brought to light. Incubi are not as widely known about as succubi and as such, even when they are discovered and killed, their specific infernal origins are not discovered with them often being mistaken for tieflings or other demon spawn.

Incubi Characteristics: Philandering, manipulative, decisive, driven, passionate.

Names: Incubi tend to choose names associated with whichever race they choose to take advantage of first.

Incubi Adventurers[edit]

Below are three examples of incubi adventurers:

Daryl is an incubus rogue. What he loves more than money is stealing a fair maiden's heart. He believes that women are just as dirty as men and so he takes great joy in defiling the chaste by tricking or charming them into laying with him. He has a current bounty over his head and so joined up with some other band of ne'er-do-wells to survive. His habits are kept in check by his companions, who find his charisma a bit unbearable.

Xavier is an incubus sorcerer that insinuated himself into a powerful family with the power of the devilish blood in his veins. He grows bored of the noble life of riches and eventually ruins the family only to go on his way. This has earned him a target on his back and he was nearly killed if not for some unsuspecting travelers who mistook him for a noble being robbed. He has hired them to be his companions while he watches for his next fancy.

Killigan is an incubus warlock who has taken up the archdevil Fierna as his patron. Through her, he has mastered the arts of charm and seduction further and intends to use it to amass an army in her name.
