Hyperdense (5e Variant Rule)

From D&D Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Hyperdense weapons are melee weapons that are so unfathomably heavy, they need a built-in antigravity device just so it's possible to lift them off the ground and wield them effectively.

The amount of damage dice is multiplied by 5. Weight is multiplied by 1000.

The antigravity device works for 24 hours on one energy cell.

While it is powered, only the weight of the non-hyperdense weapon counts towards your encumbrance.

Ex. A longsword with the hyperdense property weighs 3000 lbs. and deals 5d8 slashing damage. While the antigravity device is powered, it only counts 3 lbs. towards your encumbrance.
