A group of Public Safety Devil Hunters[1]

As a Devil Hunter, you are a skilled warrior dedicated to rooting out fiends and protecting humanity from the devils that threaten to destroy it. Whether driven by vengeance, duty, or an unshakable sense of justice, you have spent years training, honing your skills, and building a reputation as a formidable adversary of devils creatures. Your experiences have shaped you into a relentless and resourceful combatant, one who specializes in tactics designed to thwart the powers of hell.

Skill Proficiencies: Persuasion, Survival

Equipment: 20gp, a weapon of your choice, a public safety uniform (common clothes).

Feature: Paid Hunter

With your dedication to kill devils, and the high pay that comes with it. When you're below 1/4 hitpoints, you gain a +1 to attack and damage rolls against devils.

Variant: Private Devil Hunter

Your training has come from experience, not from expensive training and you've decided to keep it that way.

When tracking devils, you have advantage on the check if you have seen or heard a description of the devil.

Suggested Characteristics

You can use the following characteristics when coming with an athletic background.

1	I can never rest while there are fiends in the world.
2	I always keep a cool head, no matter how dangerous the situation becomes.
3	I trust few, but I would lay my life down for my fellow hunter.
4	I believe that all devils are beyond redemption, and I will not hesitate to strike them down.
5	When I see others struggling, I offer to help.
6	I've lost too many friends, and I'm slow to make new ones.
7	I can stare down a devil without flinching.
8	I face problems head-on. A simple, direct solution is the best path to success.

1	Vengeance. – The devils have taken something from me, and I will make them pay. (Chaotic)
2	Responsibility. I do what I must and obey just authority. (Lawful)
3	Honor. I fight not for myself, but for the greater good, and I never let vengeance cloud my sense of right and wrong. (Good)
4	Power. The only way to fight the devils is to become like them—using their methods against them. (Evil)
5	Determined. I will do anything to kill my target, no matter what i have to sacrifice. (Chaotic)
6	Growth. Lessons hide in victory and defeat. (Neutral)

5	I am haunted by the fiends I’ve killed and the ones I failed to stop.
6	I can be reckless in my pursuit of devils, sometimes putting myself or others in danger.
