Hunter's Claw 100 gp (Rare) 2d4 slashing 6 lb. Range (15/30), Finesse, Glove, two-handed, special, exotic

A special combination of a hook with a string and a claw used by hunters to hunt large beasts. This set contains a razor claw that can be held or attached on one's arm and a hook with a 30 feet long string or rope that will be tacked on the user, a pair of equipment to hold a rope or a string and special glove and straps for a claw attachment possibility.

Actions

  1. As a bonus action you can make a single ranged or melee attack against a creature, on a successful attack you embed the hook on the creature and after that the user cannot get further away than 30 feet from this creature before this hook will be removed.
If the creature one size larger than the user, as a part of a previous ranged attack action or normal attack action you may pull yourself onto the creature (Can be used free action to mount but to not attack), otherwise the user will be dragged with the creature if it tries to leave a maximum range. The user can try to stop the creature with a successful athletics check against the creature's athletics or acrobatics check (If you are one size smaller, you make this check with disadvantage).
  2. The creature must spend its action to make an athletics or acrobatics check (DC = 8+ DEX or STR mod + prof bonus) to remove the hook and shook off anyone currently mounted with the hook (The user can resist this attempt and stay mounted on them by succeeding the DEX or STR saving trow).
  • While mounted and the hook is embedded, your attacks against this creature will have an advantage.

Features

  1. The user may use an action to change the rope or string, if it was torn by any circumstances.
  2. If needed, the hook can be used as a grappling hook head
