Human Variant[edit]

Humans sometimes are born with gifts that make them more special than the average Joe. They are blessed from birth with a keen sense in a particular area. One could say they are prodigies. Others cite a bloodline which has honed its skills and passed them down without fail. They may not always be eye-catching, but these humans have skills others of their kind surely envy.

This race variant replaces the Ability Score Increase. You gain a different Ability Score Increase and the Skilled Expertise trait.

Ability Score Increase. You increase one ability score of your choice by 2, and another score by 1.

Skilled Expertise. You are proficient in one skill, gaming set, or tool kit of your choice. Whenever you make a check with this, you add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency bonus.
