Tiefling Subrace[edit]
Your fiendish heritage comes from Hu Xianfeng, the Tiger Vanguard, a servant to the Yellow Wind Demon who could tear his skin off to distract his foes.
You have tiger-like fur around your body, as well as other feline features. Your skin has certain slits in your hide that resemble exposed muscle.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 1.
Legacy of the Tiger Vanguard. You know the primal savagery cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the expeditious retreat spell once. Once you reach 5th level, you can cast the skin mimic spell once. You must finish a long rest to cast one of these spells again with this trait. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this race).
Cat Claws. You have claws that you can use to make unarmed strikes. When you hit with them, the strike deals 1d6 + your Strength modifier slashing damage, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
