[Source]. Lauded as elite soldiers belonging to the Holy See, the legendary Holy Iron Chain Knights are nothing but undeserved propaganda. Aspiring young nobles are assigned to achieve easy, risk-free assignments such as investigating miracles or other supernatural occurrences and escorting high-ranking clergy. Traditionally, they are lead by a female commander chosen from a family that has given greatly to the Holy See who does very little leading, instead relying on her second in command, though in recent years their commander Farnese has lead skillfully despite the lack of her soldiers' skill. Among their numerous soldiers, there have been two known, truly skilled soldiers, the skilled swordsman Serpico, and the Bridge Knight Azan.
