Mana Core: Sentient Soulfire Aspect. When the Hollowbrand deals fire or necrotic damage, the target must succeed on a DC 16 Charisma saving throw or suffer 4 point of MP loss.

Haunting Presence. Creatures that start their turn within 10 ft of the Revenant must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or have disadvantage on their next attack or spell, overwhelmed by soul-visions.

Echo Spark. Choose a creature the Hollowbrand has damaged in the last turn and spend 3 MP. That creature sees and hears a phantom version of itself, granting disadvantage on saves vs fear, charm, and concentration until the end of its next turn.

Minor Spellcasting. Can cast spells up to 6 difficulty.

Actions

Ashen Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft Hit: 22 (3d10 + 5) slashing + 1d6 Soulfire (necrotic + fire). If the target has lost MP, they take an extra 1d6 psychic damage.

Soulflare Burst (Recharge 5–6). The Hollowbrand explodes with white flame in a 15 ft radius. Creatures must make a DC 16 Constitution save or take 6d8 Soulfire damage (half on success). Anyone reduced to 0 DHP this way cannot be stabilized without magical healing.

Battlefield Action: Soul Eulogy

Tell (End of Turn): The Hollowbrand stands tall, its fire dimming to gray. Whispers echo as faces flicker in the flames around it.

Trigger (Start of Next Turn): All creatures within 40 ft must make a DC 18 Charisma saving throw:

Fail: Lose 20 MP, suffer 5d10 Soulfire damage, and fall prone, haunted by visions of their death or guilt.

Success: Take half damage and remain standing, but have disadvantage on their next Wisdom save.

Counter Options:

Interrupt: A creature with Soulfire affinity can succeed a DC 20 Arcana check to discharge the build-up by targeting the Guardian with a spell that disrupts magical buildup.

Mitigate: Stay outside the Soul Field.

Control: If the Hollowbrand is incapacitated before its turn, the Soul Eulogy fizzles out harmlessly.


Core Drop: 20% for the core to survive the death of the monster, if it does not survive it shatter, it pushes anyone who is in 5 ft of it 5 ft back and makes them prone. Anyone who is in 5 ft from the core on shattering regains half of the max MP the core has and anyone in 10 ft a quarter.

Sentient Core: 20% for the core to have the beast's will in it.
