Large beast, unaligned Armor Class 11 (natural armour)
Saving Throws Str +6 Beast of Burden. The hippo cow is considered to be a Huge animal for the purpose of determining its carrying capacity. Charge. If the hippo cow moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a bite attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 6 (1d12) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. Hold Breath. The hippo cow can hold its breath for 15 minutes. ACTIONSBite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d12 + 4) piercing damage.

The hippo cow is a massive semi-aquatic omnivore. In the wild, they inhabit warm rivers and lakes, though some cultures have domesticated them. Hippo cows are usually docile, but they can snap bones with their strong mouths. |
