Heiswald (5e Race Variant)

From D&D Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

The heiswald half-elves hail from a place appropriately named Heiswald. It is a forest land characterized by extreme heat. This intense heat meant only a few creatures would tough out these living conditions, including the elves. The Heiswald was so hot that its trees caught on fire once every year due to the arid climate. When it was wet season, the intense heat created uncomfortable humidity. The heiswald elves are extreme survivors of this temperamental place, which is not unlike the crazy Feywild their elven ancestors spoke of.

Half-Elf Variant[edit]

Heat Resistant. You are resistant to fire damage and are immune to the effects of Extreme Heat, as written in chapter 5 of the DMG. This trait replaces the half-elf's Skill Versatility trait.
