[edit]

Saving Throws Dex +7, Wis +4, Cha +8 Legendary Resistance (2/Day). If Lukas fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead. Shapechanger. Lukas can polymorph into a wolf-humanoid hybrid, into a humanoid, or back into his true form, which is wolf. His statistics, other than his AC, are the same in each form. Any equipment he is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. Lukas reverts to his true form if he dies Spellcasting. Lukas is a 9th-level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 16, +8 to hit with spell attacks). He knows the following bard spells: Cantrips (at will): minor illusion, prestidigitation, vicious mockery 1st level (4 slots): charm person, silent image, sleep 2nd level (3 slots): enthrall, hold person, suggestion 3rd level (3 slots): fear, hypnotic pattern 4th level (1 slot): compulsion, hallucinatory terrain 5th level (1 slot): dominate person Undying Soul. When Lukas dies his soul moves into the body of the nearest dire wolf. The wolf gains his statistics and abilities of Lukas, but the wolf retains its current conditions or injures. ACTIONSMultiattack (Human or Hybrid Form Only). Lukas makes two longsword attacks. If he is in hybrid form, he can also make a bite attack. Bite (Wolf or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6+3) piercing damage. +1 Berserk Longsword (Human or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8+4) slashing damage and the attacker can't drop this magic sword or take the Disengage action for 1 minute. Song of Lethargy. Lukas' song dulls the reactions and slows the wits. Each creature within 40 feet who can hear the song must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be affected by Lukas' song for 1 minute. Creatures immune to the charmed condition are unaffected. An affected target's speed is halved, they take a -2 penalty to AC and Dexterity saving throws, and they can't use reactions. On their turn, a lethargic creature can use either an action or a bonus action, not both. Regardless of the creature's abilities or magic items, they can't make more than one melee or ranged attack during their turn. If the affected creature attempts to cast a spell with a casting time of 1 action, roll a d20. On an 11 or higher, the spell doesn't take effect until the creature's next turn, and the creature must use their action on that turn to complete the spell. If they can't, the spell is wasted. A creature affected by this spell makes another Wisdom saving throw at the end of their turn. On a successful save, the effect ends for them. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for them, the creature is immune to Lukas' song for the next 24 hours Enchanted Harp (1/Day). When Lukas plays his harp, he can magically calls 3d6 wolves to his air. The called wolves arrive in 1d4 rounds , acting as allies of Lukas and obeying his spoken commands. The beasts remain for 1 hour, until the Lukas dies, or until Lukas dismisses them as a bonus action.

The regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn. Cantrip. Lukas casts a cantrip. Longsword. Lukas makes a Berserk Longsword attack. Move. Lukas moves up to his speed without provoking opportunity attacks. |
The meistersinger of the Kartakan village of Skald, Harkon Lukas owns and resides at the Old Kartakan Inn. Originally from the country of Cormyr on the continent of Faerûn, Lukas sought to unite his fellow wolfweres (or reverse werewolves) under his leadership. When they rebuffed his ambitions, he ran rampant throughout rural Cormyr, killing all creatures and humans he came across in a rage. After his fury subsided, he rejected his kind and traveled among humanity in the guise of a wandering minstrel, still conspiring to take over Cormyr. One night, the Mists rolled in and swept him away. Wolf's den Inn. The Old Kartakan Inn and Tavern sits on a rocky island at the base of a waterfall, inside the town of Skald. The churning waters surrounding the inn create a constant mist that, along with the roar of the falls, conceals all that occurs within the tavern. The inn is operated by Haldrake Moonbaum, a wolfwere lieutenant of Lukas. The Old Kartakan Inn and Tavern is popular location for dining during the day, but grows dangerous at night when the "woodsmen" (actually wolfweres in disguise) from the surrounding forests gather for a feast. Hungry like the Wolf. Lukas desire power and to rule over a great land of importance. Instead, he is trapped in a rural backwater filled with bards and wolves. Lukas' sword is also cursed. When he enters combat, his sword magically appears in his hand, no matter where it was previously, teleporting across the land. Once Lukas is wielding his sword, he must fight to the death and cannot release the sword. Because the cursed sword is trapped in his grip, he can't change shape in battle and must fight as either a human of hybrid form. Usually Harkon is a jovial and flamboyant creature with an evil twinkle in his eye. Insults and sabre-rattling leave him unperturbed. If thwarted, however, he is subject to extreme mood swings. His fits of rage result in horrible violence that can last for days. He is always quiet and reclusive after such a fit, however. During these periods of calm, he produces his most audacious plans. Harkon has an abiding hatred of werewolves and vampires. He has been known to hunt and destroy these creatures, even if the hunt takes years. He has an affinity for humans and elves but gets along well with any of the humanoid races. (Still, he never lets such emotions get in the way of a good meal.) |
