Flame Spine. At the start of each of its turns, enemies within 5 ft take 1d10 fire damage.

Mana Core (Sentient). Has a chance to resist spells cast on it (DC 15), and can cast basic fire-based spells.

Blue Inferno Breath (Recharge 5-6, 10 MP). Unleashes a 60 ft line of blue flame. Creatures must succeed on a DC 18 DEX save or take 5d10 fire damage.

Actions

Tail Slam. Melee Attack: +11 to hit, reach 15 ft, one target. Hit: 21 (3d10 + 5) bludgeoning.

Constrict. Melee Attack: +11 to hit, reach 10 ft, one target. Hit: 17 (2d10 + 6) bludgeoning and target is grappled.

Battlefield Action: Infernal Pulse

Tell (End of Turn): The Hades Serpent coils tightly, its blue flames intensify and crackle with arcs of energy racing down its spine. The ground beneath it glows faintly red, and the air vibrates with rising pressure.

Trigger (Start of Next Turn): A massive wave of blue fire erupts in a 60-foot radius, dealing 18d10 fire damage to all creatures in the area. Creatures must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking half damage on a success.

Counter Options:

Interrupt: A creature with fire affinity can succeed a DC 20 Arcana check to discharge the build-up by targeting the serpent’s spine with a spell that disrupts magical buildup.

Mitigate: Any creature can digs or shields itself as an action behind cover or terrain for advantage on the saving throw, resistance to the fire damage and more.

Control: A creature who lands a critical melee hit against the Serpent’s midsection before the start of its next turn causes the pulse to backfire, dealing half damage to the Serpent itself.

Core Drop: 20% for the core to survive the death of the monster, if it does not survive it shatter, it pushes anyone who is in 5 ft of it 5 ft back and makes them prone. Anyone who is in 5 ft from the core on shattering regains half of the max MP the core has and anyone in 10 ft a quarter.

Sentient Core: 20% for the core to have the beast's will in it.
