These blades can range from slender and sharp to blunt and wide, but they all have the signature firing mechanism close to the base of the blade fashioned similarly like a revolver. Gunblades are commonly used by Gunbreakers (See Gunbreaker FFXIV Here) but are Martial Weapons that can be used by common folks as well. There are two modes to this weapon: Slashing with the sharp end of the blade allows for this weapon to be used like a Longsword. Pulling the trigger near the handle will expend a Cartridge firing a projectile up to 20 feet away accurately.
