Grounded Magic (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Grounded Magic
You do not use magic by manipulating the Weave, rather integrating the rules of the world to your advantage to circumvent traditional defenses against magic. In doing so, you gain the following benefits:
- When afflicted with an anti-magical effect (such as a Counterspell or while within an Anti-Magic Field) and you attempt to cast a spell, you can roll an Intelligence saving throw against the caster's spell DC. If you succeed, the spell is successfully cast.
- When you are in a location where the standard laws of physics do not apply (such as a different plane of existence or within the area of a Reverse Gravity spell), enemies gain advantage when making saving throws against spells you cast on them and you suffer disadvantage on attack rolls made with spells. You can spend a long rest attempting to get used to the different rules, rolling an Intelligence check against your spell save DC. If you succeed, you no longer suffer from this penalty while within that area.
