Greatstaff 200 gp (Uncommon) 1d10 bludgeoning 6 lb. Rarity, reach, versatile (1d12)

A greatstaff is a massive bludgeoning instrument, 8 to 12 feet long and several inches thick, used to crush its opposition into submission by sheer weight alone. It's more commonly seen in the hands of larger creatures as a refined bludgeoning instrument, but is also popular among the disproportionately muscular as a show of their strength.

Greatstaves can be used for the purposes of both military and ceremony, but are also frequently used as magic staves, similar to their smaller cousins. In this capacity, an enchanted greatstaff is the magical equivalent of an artillery piece.

Rarity. This weapon has a rarity, like a magic item. The type of rarity is shown after the weapon's cost. At the DMs discretion, it may not be available as starting equipment. Acquiring or crafting the item may require a special task or trade in something other than coin.
