Great Death Spitter[edit]

Simple trap (level 6;4, moderate threat)

It's a large hive like siphon which fires fist sized globules that explode and release extremely poisonous spores that last for a short time as a cloud of pollen.

Trigger. If Characters step within a 50 radius of the trap, especially if they accidentally set of a Grappler Trap.

Effect. 20 foot radius where global hits, DC. 15 Constitution save per round for four rounds, if the target fails it's save it takes (12) 4d6 poison damage and is poisoned on that round. If the target makes the saving throw it only takes half damage.

Countermeasures. A simple spell that has a wind effect will cancel the poisonous spores... 10 fire damage destroys the death spore hive.
