Great Weapon Riposte, Variant (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Great Weapon Riposte, Variant
Prerequisites: proficiency with a two-handed weapon
You have learned how to guarantee devastating blows against vulnerable targets using large weapons. You gain the following benefits:
- You may use the dodge action as a bonus action.
- When you take the dodge action on your turn while wielding a two-handed weapon, you enter a defensive stance. Until the beginning of your next turn, when a creature no bigger than one size category larger than you makes a melee attack against you and misses, you may use your reaction to shove that creature prone.
- You may use your action to execute a special riposte attack against a prone creature. Make a melee weapon attack against the target with advantage: This attack is a critical hit if it hits. You may secure a critical hit using this feature once, and you may do so again after you complete a short or long rest.
