Cursed Energy. The Grade 4 New Shadow Style Curse User has 9 cursed energy he can use to fuel his abilities. All of his cursed energy is replenished at the end of a long rest.

Cursed Armor. The Grade 4 New Shadow Style Curse User can spend up to 3 cursed energy to give himself temporary hit points equal to the cursed energy spent times 5 for 1 minute. While Cursed Armor is active he regains 2 temporary hitpoints at the beginning of his turns, this cannot go above the maximum amount of armor he has. He can only benefit from this feature again after 1 minute or having his temporary hit points reduced to 0 (No action required).

Taijutsu Sorcery. Once per turn, the Grade 4 New Shadow Style Curse User can make an unarmed strike or martial weapon attack with advantage (this does not give him an extra attack). If he already had advantage on a unarmed strike or martial weapon attack, he raises the critical hit range for the attack by 1 instead.

New Shadow Style Student. While his simple domain is active the Grade 4 New Shadow Style Curse User may choose to spend up to 2 Cursed Energy to increase the simple domain’s range by 5 feet per cursed energy spent, no action required.

ACTIONS

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) bludgeoning damage.

Cursed Katana. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) slashing damage and 6 (1d8 + 2) necrotic damage.

New Shadow Style: Simple Domain (5 Cursed Energy.) The Grade 4 New Shadow Style Curse User surrounds himself with a 30 ft. barrier for 1 minute, though said barrier does not impede movement. The circle has 40 hit points. Any cursed techniques or spells that target him, creatures inside his simple domain or targets an area that overlaps with his simple domain, will now target the barrier instead, reducing it's hit points by the damage it would cause. While inside of a domain, the sure-hit feature and sure-hit effect is negated against creatures inside the simple domain but at the start of his turn the simple domain will take 24 (3d12) force damage per 100 refinement the domain has. However, simple domains cannot reduce all incoming damage, they can only dampen it. If he takes too much damage from one source it can go through his simple domain and affect him. His barrier has a damage threshold of 10. If the simple domain takes more damage than this threshold, the damage over said threshold hurts him. However, it is dampened so he only takes 1/8 of the damage over the threshold, rounded down. The damage that leaks over the threshold still affects the simple domain's health.

To use this technique, he must not move from where the simple domain was cast and must maintain concentration as if he were concentrating on a spell. If he is in a Domain Expansion then he negates it's sure-hit effect on himself, as it only affects the barrier. He cannot react to the effects of a Domain Expansion with this feat the first time he would get the opportunity after his simple domain ends or is broken.

Batto Sword Drawing (4 Cursed Energy.) While his simple domain is active the Grade 4 New Shadow Style Curse User may enter the Batto Sword Drawing stance. the Grade 4 New Shadow Style Curse User may choose to open his simple domain and pay it's cost as a part of this action. Once he is in the stance, he will automatically attack any projectile or creature that enters his simple domain range. He can automatically make up to 3 attacks per round. If he is targeted by a projectile, he may make an attack roll against it. If his attack roll is higher or equal to that of the projectile, it misses. If it was lower, the projectile would still hit. If a creature enters his simple domain, he can automatically try to hit it. On a hit, he deals his weapon’s damage and an additional amount of necrotic damage equal to the weapon's damage dice. He may make multiple attacks against the same creature. This lasts for 1 minute as long as he spends an action on his turn for the minute to maintain the stance or until his simple domain ends.

This technique can only be used while he is wielding a martial melee weapon with the finesse property.

BONUS ACTIONS

Martial Arts. Whenever the Grade 4 New Shadow Style Curse User makes one unarmed strike on his turn, he can make one unarmed strike as a bonus action.

Taijutsu Sorcery. Whenever the Grade 4 New Shadow Style Curse User uses the Attack action with an unarmed strike or martial weapon on his turn, he can make one unarmed strike, shove, grapple, or weapon attack as a bonus action.

Cursed Blast of Blows (3 Cursed Energy). Immediately after taking the attack action, the Grade 4 New Shadow Style Curse User can make two unarmed strikes.

Cursed Patient Defense (3 Cursed Energy). The Grade 4 New Shadow Style Curse User can take the Dodge action.

Cursed Wind Step (3 Cursed Energy). The Grade 4 New Shadow Style Curse User can take the dash or disengage action as a bonus action on his turn and his jump distance is doubled until the end of his turn

REACTIONS

New Shadow Style: Simple Domain (5 Cursed Energy.) As a reaction against a cursed energy attack roll or saving throw, spell or domain expansion opening, the Grade 4 New Shadow Style Curse User uses his simple domain.

Taijutsu Sorcery. As a Reaction to an attack roll being made against him, the Grade 4 New Shadow Style Curse User may take the Dodge action. However this dodge action only causes melee attacks against him to gain disadvantage and may only be used if he took the Attack action on his turn. If a creature rolls a natural 1 on a melee attack against him whilst using this reaction, he can make one attack against that creature if it is within range once per round.
