Grabbed (5e Variant Rule)
From D&D Wiki
This replaces the normal grappled condition. It is best used with versatile unarmed strike.
- The grabbed creature's speed becomes 0 and can't change.
- The grabbed creature has disadvantage on attack rolls, except when targeting the grabber.
- When the grabber moves, the grabbed creature is carried with it. Unless the grabber is one size category larger, while doing so the grabber must expend 1 extra foot of speed for every 1 foot moved.
- The grabbed creature can make a Strength or Dexterity saving throw at the end of each of its turns, escaping this condition on a success. If the grabbing effect doesn't specify a DC, use the grabber's Strength DC.
- This condition ends if any effect shoves either the grabber or grabbed creature (by at least 5 feet), or if the grabber becomes incapacitated.
