Chapter 7: Politics[edit]
Aruna Continent Politics[edit]
Aruna is the continent that the del were first created upon at the end of the Godlings War, and was the pinnacle of the del race for art, learning and education. The Jisranthi Forest is what remains of a once heavily forrested and beautiful society that spanned the continent. Aruna itself has gone through several major changes in politics throughout the history of the world, and these will be detailed in turn.
Del Ruled Aruna[edit]
According to ancient lore the del claimed the center of Aruna, what they refer to as Sivas mor Laira (Throne of the Stars), as the primary capital for the entirity of the race. The first king of the del, Lilathias Frausmaud, was the initial ruler to bind the del together as a single people instead of tribes and clans; his quests led him to every land the del had touched and was set off 8,000 years after the end of the Godlings War. Many of the tribal and clan leaders formed the first council and started to vie for position through favorable marriages, agreements and occasionally an assassination or duel. Lilanthias ruled for 3,000 years before eventually dying which opened the way for Vimaris, Lilanthias' eldest son, to assume the mantel of leader among the del. Vimaris rule lasted for a mere 500 years before he was killed by his younger brother, Cavasius the Mad, who was dethroned by his eldest sister Miradal.
