The economy is in ruins with the long war. Before the war, the average monthly wage was 5 gold pieces (the basic pay of the army). Now, the average monthly wage is 3 gold pieces (the basic pay of the army). Before the war, magic items were more available as a market item in the major cities (most items of level 1 through 5). Now, the availability of magic items is rare. There are no magic item stores or merchants (only 1st level items are available, when a magic item can be found to buy).
History[edit]
King and Guildmaster Browndigger founds Goldemunde Citadel and changes his name to King Platinum'smith. Battle of Five Stones; Elf Warlord Bealcrest killed and Dwarf King Platinum'smith killed. Platinumaxe the Elfslayer becomes King of Goldemunde Citadel.
Government[edit]
It is governed by claim of strength and victory in combat, victorious-warrior leader, known as the Magnificent Champion. The leader is decided through a direct challenge in deadly combat between victorious leaders/generals. The Magnificent Champion has absolute authority and total power of the state until deposed by another.
There is a 2 gold pieces tax on all merchandise bought or sold, also there is a 5 gold pieces gateway tax on all travel into the city. No mounts of any kind are permitted within the city.
The law of the mine is the Six Stone Laws. In 958 DY, the Dwarven platinum smith and judge Bold Tightfist codified six laws into a civilized system. The six laws are the foundation of all Dwarven legal systems. The Six Stone Laws are against stealing, murder, cheating, false scales, interfering, and affecting property. The Six Stone Laws are often displayed: No stealing or death. No murdering or death. No cheating in business or slavery. No false scales of slavery. No interfering with authorities or imprisonment. No affecting property by diminishing its availability and value or imprisonment.
Culture[edit]
Clan, family, and ancestry are very important to Dwarves. The history of their culture is important and seen in the many murals, monuments, and statues throughout the citadel.
Goldemunde is an elaborate platinum and gold mine. The fashion of the complex focuses on wearing the platinum color and jewelry, especially jewelry that shows their clan, family, and ancestry.

Morgran Smith is the leader of the Platinum-Axes. Platinum-Axes are an army of well trained Dwarves (mostly heavy infantry). They wear chainmail or plate armor with a platinum-double-bladed axe standing on its handle as their emblem.
Platinumaxe the Elfslayer becomes the Magnificent Champion (king) of Goldemunde Citadel. The Magnificent Champion has absolute authority and total power of the state until deposed by another.
Travok Ground the Death Dealer is the High Priest of Mord-slam.
Watcher the Earthstrength is the leader of the Blue Battle Hammers. Blue Battle Hammers are a multitude of metal-stone-crystal Warforgeds. They dye their heads or fists a deep blue as a emblem of belonging to the Hammers.
Institutions & Organizations[edit]
Guilds and Brotherhoods: There are several international organizations that transcend culture and race. Almost none of the international organizations are present in Goldemunde.
Warrior Circles: Goldemunde is massively defended by an above ground blue crystal fortress and a network of war-trenches and draw-bridges known as the Crystal Castle; and an army of well trained Dwarves, multitude of metal-stone-crystal Warforgeds, and The Red Guard.

It is a cathedral, library, and university with 20+ clerics. Darrak Strongarm is the Dwarven High Priest of the White Cold Hall. Mord-slam Dwarf is worshipped only by Dwarves. They must constantly appease the Demigod with sacrifices of fire and metal. The high festival day is the 21st day of Tet (April) and is known as Mord-slam's Anvil. The God’s Anvil is the temple of Mord-slam in Goldemunde. The high priest is Travok Ground the Death Dealer.
