Gligar are typically small purple, bat like creatures, with long pointed ears. They have wings attached to they're arms and legs, the back is purple whilst the membrane is blue. Are the end of each arm are 2 large pincers used to clamp onto prey or attack enemies, its tail is segmented into spheres that end in a circular stinger, said stinger is shorter on females than males. Their feet are small and semi-circled and have a long purple point on them.

Some specimens have been known to have a more bluish-purple color in place of they're pink bodies.

History[edit]

These pokemon were found first in the forests of Johto's route 45, or as it's sometimes known as, mountain road, with their evolution, gliscor, being found later in the trees and forest of sinnoh. They were found sleeping in the trees though some did attack the research crew when approached. This did, however, reveal the method of attack, they latch onto the target's face and whilst the target is paralyzed with shock it stabs it's stinger into the victim injecting venom into them that truly paralyzes the target for up to four hours. They mainly eat berries though have been examined to work in packs to subdue large prey and then divide it amongst the pack.

Society[edit]

Gligar are organized pack hunters, usually working in groups of three or five.
