Giant Creature (5e Template)
Giant Creature[edit]
A giant creature is a creature which is larger and stronger than its normal kin.
- Prerequisite
Any creature of Huge size or smaller, hereafter referred to as the base creature. If you are using the Mythic Monsters (5e Variant Rule), the base creature can be any creature of Colossal size or smaller.
Statistics[edit]
Size. The giant creature's size category increases by one — for example, from Medium to Large.
Hit Die. The hit die of the creature increases by one step, as described on this page.
Damage. The giant creature's weapons might deal more damage in accordance with its new size, as described on page 278 of the GM's guide.
Ability Scores & Natural Armor. The giant creature's ability scores change in accordance with its new size, to a maximum of 30 or minimum of 1. If the base creature's Armor Class was calculated using natural armor, the giant creature's AC also changes.

CR Calculation[edit]
Recalculate the giant creature's CR taking into account its changed hit points, increased damage (if applicable), and increased armor class (if applicable).
