Dwarven Kingdom of Gerhard Minecomplex
(Gold banner with a black fist)
Population: 30,000+
Geographic Area[edit]
Gerhard Minecomplex is at the mountains.
Imports, Exports, and Resources[edit]
Gerhard Minecomplex has abundant freshwater, stone, and wealth. Gerhard is an elaberate gold mine that uses Bronze City as a port to send its wealth to the southern markets.
The economy is in ruins with the long war. Before the war, the average monthly wage was 5 gold pieces (the basic pay of the army). Now, the average monthly wage is 3 gold pieces (the basic pay of the army). Before the war, magic items were more available as a market item in the major cities (most items of level 1 through 5). Now, the availability of magic items is rare. There are no magic item stores or merchants (only 1st level items are available, when a magic item can be found to buy).
History[edit]
Gerhard Minecomplex is the newest Dwarven Kingdom. Dwarves establish Gerhard Minecomplex when gold is found by Blackfist. Miner Blackfist made King under the mountain in Gerhard Minecomplex, his son, Goldenfist becomes King of Gerhard Minecomplex at his death in 20 C.E. In 77 C.E., the defense of Gerhard Minecomplex against two armies and innumerable trolls was lead by King Goldsoul the Victorious.
In 375 C.E., the evil Emperor Shaelong and an army of 25,000 invade the whole south. Gerhard Minecomplex attacked by 10 Titans, 3 blue dragons, and 6 gnoll-tribes and innumerable hyenas. The battle lasts for eight days and ends with a stalemate-siege that lasts for 5 years. In 380 C.E., at Bronze City, Dwarf General Golddigger the Troll Killer of Gerhard Minecomplex defeats the Titan's Gnoll army and holds the Bronze Pass as safe
Government[edit]
Gerhard Minecomplex is a hereditary monarchy from the line of Miner Blackfist. The King of Gerhard Minecomplex is Goldhammer the Slayer. Underground in the mine is the Hall of Goldenfist, the residence, throne room, and seat of government.
There is a 2 gold pieces tax on all merchandise bought or sold, also there is a 5 gold pieces gateway tax on all travel into the minecomplex. No mounts of any kind are permitted within Gerhard.
The law of the mine is the Six Stone Laws. In 958 DY, the Dwarven platinum smith and judge Bold Tightfist codified six laws into a civilized system. The six laws are the foundation of all Dwarven legal systems. The Six Stone Laws are against stealing, murder, cheating, false scales, interfering, and affecting property. The Six Stone Laws are often displayed: No stealing or death. No murdering or death. No cheating in business or slavery. No false scales of slavery. No interfering with authorities or imprisonment. No affecting property by diminishing its availability and value or imprisonment.
Culture[edit]
Clan, family, and ancestry are very important to Dwarves. The history of their culture is important and seen in the many murals, monuments, and statues throughout the complex.
Gerhard is an elaborate gold mine that uses Bronze City as a port to send its wealth to the southern markets. The fashion of the complex focuses on wearing the gold color and gold jewelry, especially jewelry that shows their clan, family, and ancestry.
