Amphibious. Gawr Gura can breathe both air and water.

Apex Predator. Once per turn, Gawr Gura deals an extra 10 (3d6) damage when she hits a target with a weapon attack and has advantage on the attack roll, or when the target is within 5 feet of an ally of Gawr Gura that isn't incapacitated and she doesn't have disadvantage on the attack roll.

Bad Luck. If Gawr Gura rolls a natural 1 on an attack roll, ability check or saving throw, she has disadvantage on all rolls until the end of her next turn.

Domo, Same Desu. Gawr Gura's creature type is simultaneously beast and humanoid.

Hydrodynamic. While swimming, Gawr Gura has advantage on attack rolls and can take the Dash action as a bonus action.

Legendary Resistance (2/Day). If Gawr Gura fails a saving throw, she can choose to succeed instead.

Magic Resistance. Gawr Gura has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Magic Weapons. Gawr Gura's trident is a magical weapon.

Shark Telepathy. Gawr Gura can communicate simple ideas to any shark within 120 feet.

Special Equipment. Gawr Gura possesses a trident of fish command and an instrument of the bards [Canaith mandolin].

Spellcasting. Gawr Gura is a 4th-level spellcaster. Her spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 12). She can cast the following bard spells:
cantrips: friends, vicious mockery
1st level (4 slots): animal friendship, comprehend languages, thunderwave
2nd level (3 slots): animal messenger, enthrall, silence

Multiattack. Gawr Gura makes two trident attacks, or makes one bite attack and casts vicious mockery.

Trident. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage, or 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage if Gawr Gura uses both hands to make a melee attack.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 4) piercing damage.

Stop Killing Me! When damage reduces Gawr Gura to 0 hit points, she lets out a piercing scream. Each creature within 30 feet of her must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw, taking 14 (4d6) thunder damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. On a failed save, a creature is also deafened for 1 hour.

Gawr Gura can take 2 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Gawr Gura regains spent legendary actions at the start of her turn.

Swim. Gawr Gura moves up to half her swim speed.
You Walked into That One, Chief. Gawr Gura casts vicious mockery. The target has disadvantage on its saving throw against this cantrip if it took any damage on the previous turn.

The half-human, half-shark known as Gawr Gura is an enigma. Though undeniably graceful in her element, she finds her oceanic home boring, and has come up to the surface world in search of entertainment. Her kind heart and skill with a mandolin offset her terrible luck and poor sense of direction, though she is not above playing pranks on friend and foe alike. Her relationship to the sahuagin, if any, remains unclear.
