Fungal Infection (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Fungal Infection
Prerequisites: Constitution 13 or higher
You have been infected with russet mold spores, but they’ve formed a bizarre symbiosis with your biology. You are completely asymptomatic and can harness your own spore spread to raise Vegepygmies to fight for you.
- For the purposes of spells, you count as a Plant creature in addition to your normal identification.
- Gain vulnerability to Fire, Cold, and Necrotic damage.
- Gain resistance to Poison, Psychic, and Radiant damage.
- Gain Darkvision for 60ft or add 60ft to your existing Darkvision.
- Gain proficiency in the Nature skill. If you are already proficient in the skill, you add double your proficiency bonus to checks you make with it.
- Whenever a Beast dies within 10ft of you, its corpse will become a Thorny after 1 minute.
- Whenever a Giant dies within 10ft of you, its corpse will become a Vegepygmy Chief after 1 minute.
- Whenever a Humanoid dies within 10ft of you, its corpse will become a Vegepygmy after 1 minute.
Creatures created by this ability revive with any weapons or equipment they had in life and will obey your verbal and somatic commands for 1 hour, after which it will become a normal creature. If you do not issue any commands, the creature will not move and only defend itself or other Vegepygmies within 30ft of it.
