Frostfire Phalanx

Prerequisites: Ability to cast Burning Hands and Frost Fingers
Burning Hands and Frost Fingers are very similar spells, just on the opposite sides of the elemental equation. You’ve figured out how to balance that calculation.

  • You may cast Burning Hands and Frost Fingers together using 1 action. This new spell costs two spell slots, and requires two saving throws: a constitution save against deals 1d8 cold damage, and a dexterity saving throw against 2d6 fire damage. In addition, choose an effect below...
  • When cast together, Burning Hands and Frost Fingers’ range is increased to a 30-foot cone.
  • When cast together, Burning Hands and Frost Fingers both deal an additional 1d4 Force damage to any enemy that fails either of their saving throws.
  • If an enemy fails both saving throws for Burning Hands and Frost Fingers in a single turn, they must make a Strength saving throw. If they fail it, their movement speed is reduced to 0 and they cannot regain hit points until your next turn.
