Fool King's Sword[edit]
Magical Trap

This sword is lodged in a stone inside a closed area. There is a plaque reading "Thy creature who removes this sword from its rocky prison will be the king."
- Trigger
- Removing the sword requires a DC 11 strength check and triggers the trap
- Effect
- When the sword is removed, the creature who removed it is affected by hideous laughter(DC 13). In addition, the room begins to crumble. Every round, 2 bricks fall from the ceiling. 2 random creatures inside the room must make a DC 13 Dexterity save or take 1d6 damage, in addition the crumbling room is counted as difficult terrain. After 3 rounds, the room collapses, creatures still inside take 4d8 bludgeoning damage Only leaving the sword nearly free now saying "Thy creature who removes this sword from its rocky prison will be the king of fools." shooting out a crown with a symbol representing the tarot card "The Fool" from its plague.
- Countermeasures
A DC 15 Wisdom(Perception) check can show the plaque is partially covered in dirt. A DC 12 Intelligence(Investigation) shows that the covered text reads "of fools"
- Rewards
The sword is a +1 longsword with a curse that anyone who touches it is affected by the spell, hideous laughter. This can be removed with the remove curse spell and the crown worth 100 GP.
