Class Features[edit]
All of the following are class features of the <-Flaggelant->.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: <-Simple weapons, Flail (Fighter's weapon group)->.
<-Masochism-> (Su): <- Level 1- Non-lethal damage starts at Maximum Negative HP, and heals at a rate equal to half your Flagellant level(min 1)/round. The threshold for non-lethal damage is now equal to your Max HP+Flagellant level. Maximum Negative HP is increased by your Flagellant level.->
<-Penance-> (Su): <- Level 1-You start with a number of Penance dice equal to half your level+con mod, and recover these dice after a long rest. When ever a Flagellant receives Health Damage from Bludgeoning, Slashing, or Piercing, they may expend a die, as an immediate and convert the appropriate damage to non-lethal damage. The player must declare the use of dice before damage has been rolled.
Starting 3rd level, and every odd level after, the Flagellant may choose another damage type for Penance. The flagellant may also use this ability, as a free action, once per day. The number of free actions increases by 1 every odd level.->
<-Constitutional AC-> (Ex): <-Level 1-Should the Flagellant wear no Armor, they may add their Con mod to their AC as Natural Armor.->
<-Endurance->: <-Level 2-The Flagellant receives Endurance as a bonus feat. If the Flagellant already has endurance, they instead receive Diehard. If the Flagellant already has Diehard, they instead receive a bonus feat.->
<-Flagellate-> (Ex): <-Level 3-Flagellants may spend a full-round action to preform flagellation, dealing damage equal to their level to themselves. This damage is added to all attacks made by the Flagellant for a number of rounds equal to their con mod.
If Penance dice is used in response to this damage, they may instead use 2 dice. Should the player use 2 dice, they only receive the benefit equal to one die, but the damage is immediately healed.->
<-Diehard->: <-Level 4-The Flagellant receive Diehard as a bonus feat. If they already have Diehard, they receive a bonus feat.
The Flagellant counts as Half-Orc for the purpose of qualifying for feats.->
<-Wounding-> (Ex): <-Level 4-Once per day, you may cause your weapon to deal bleed damage equal to your Flagellant level each round. This effect lasts a number of rounds equal to your constitution modifier (min 1), and does not stack with other sources of bleed.
You gain additional uses of this ability every even level after 4th.->
<-Suffer-> (Su): <- Level 5-Range- 5ft +5ft every 5th level
Flagellants may, as a move action, designate allies within range as targets for this ability. Once targets have been designated, any wounds they have suffered will be transferred to the flagellant, at a rate up to the flagellant's level, so long as they are within range. This rate slows with the increase of targets. (Ex. Level 16=16/round, 4 allies targeted=4/round each)
At the start of the flagellant's turn, the flagellant must succeed a constitution based concentration check to maintain the effect.->
<-Deathless Initiate->: <-Level 6-The Flagellant receives Deathless Initiate as a bonus feat.->
<-Flog->: <-Level 7-The Flagellant may use Flagellate as a movement action.->
<-Deathless Master->: <-Level 9-The Flagellant receives Deathless Master as a bonus feat.->
<-Deadman Walking-> (Ex): <-Level 10-The Flagellant's Maximum negative health is equal to their maximum health+ their flagellant level.
Massive damage rules no longer apply to the Flagellant.->
<-Deathless Zealot->: <-Level 12-The Flagellant receives Deathless Zealot as a bonus feat.->
<-Damage Resistance(Self)-> (Ex): <-Level 15-Damage inflicted by the abilities of the Flagellant, to the Flagellant, are halved unless stated otherwise, by the Flagellant.->
<-Dead Parade->: <-Level 20-Suffer requires no Concentration checks to maintain. Damage is automatically transferred to the flagellant as it is dealt with no limitations, unless stated otherwise, by the flagellant, on the turn of the flagellant. 1/10th of damage directed to the flagellant is added to the Flagellant's damage until the end of the next round. The number of penance dice usable by the Flagellant is now 12+twice their con mod, and each ally targeted by suffer counts as a separate instance of damage.->
Ex-<-Flagellants->[edit]
<-Should a Flagellant violate their codes, they lose their ability to use Penance dice, and any feat along the diehard feat tree until they willingly reduce their own hp to 0.->.
