Fires Of The Phoenix
Prerequisites: The ability to cast at least one spell that deals fire damage.
The power of the Phoenix flows through you. You gain the following benefits:
- When a spell you cast deals damage of any type, you can choose to deal fire damage instead.
- When you deal fire damage with a spell of 1st-level or higher, you can choose to have the target catch fire and take 1d4 fire damage per spell level at the start of each of its turns. A creature can end this damage by using its action to make a DC 10 Dexterity check to extinguish the flames. This effect cannot stack. If the spell targets more than one creature, you must choose one to be affected by this ability. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, after which you must finish a long rest before you can use it again.
- When you deal fire damage with a spell you can choose to take a number of d8 equal to the spells level (1 if the spell is a cantrip) fire damage. If you choose to do this the spells damage ignores resistance to fire damage and treats immunity as resistance.
