Extension of Oneself (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Extension of Oneself
Prerequisites: A d4 or greater unarmed strike damage die or 15 in dexterity or Strength
Your martial prowess with a particular weapon has grown, allowing you to wield it as if it were a part of your body.
- Increase your Strength, Dexterity, or Wisdom score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- You can perform a ritual over the course of 1 hour to create a special bond between yourself and one weapon of your choice. The weapon must be within your reach throughout the ritual, at the conclusion of which you touch the weapon and forge the bond. This weapon can now benefit from any feature which would affect your unarmed strikes and substitute in place of an unarmed strike. You can use your Wisdom modifier instead of Strength or Dexterity for attacks and damage rolls using this weapon. This weapon gets a bonus to attack and damage rolls as long as you are wielding it equal to your proficiency bonus. If your unarmed strike damage die is larger than the damage die of this bonded weapon, you may use the larger of the two. While this weapon is on your person, unless willing, you cannot be disarmed of it. Should you be separated from the weapon, you can also detect its relative location so long as it is within the same plane as you. Finally, should this weapon be destroyed, you may perform this ritual again with another weapon of the same type to create a new bond.
- Reduce your critical strike range when using your bonded weapon by 1. Ex 20-19 critical range.
