Ewok[edit]

"Well, short help is better than no help at all."
—Han Solo reluctantly accepts the Ewoks' help in the Battle of Endor

Physical Description[edit]

Ewoks are very small creatures that remind a lot people of teddy bears, and for good reason, I mean, ewoks are so freaking cute... when they aren't putting spears through your chest. They frequently have brown or black fur, they mostly have solid colored fur, but some have stripes or spots, they dress in hooded tunics and hold (most of the time) simple wooden weapons like bows, spears, and clubs.

History[edit]

Ewoks have a long and complicated history with the Galactic Civil War, and it all started when the Empire landed on Endor and razed an entire ewok village. This started a hatred for the Empire in the ewoks which lead to the ewoks assisting the Rebellion in the Civil War. After the Civil War, some ewoks became farmers and others joined the New Republic.

Society[edit]

Ewoks have a fairly complicated society in their little villages. They assign jobs like hunter/gatherer, builder, or nursery worker. Sounds familiar? It should because a lot of humanoids do something similar. They don't exactly trade things for money, because what could they do with money? So, they trade food for building supplies, or weapons for food, stuff like that. They sometimes have very cut-off villages and function just fine all alone, but others rely on the world outside, so they learn Common or one of the other mainstream languages (i.e., not draconic, infernal, primordial etc.). Many times, the only ewoks who know the exotic languages are scholars or teachers, trying to learn about different species in the world by talking to them.

Ewok Names[edit]

Ewok names are normally assigned by the tribe, sort of a tag to the ewok once they do something significant or ridiculous. For that note, there are a million different names they could take, not including the possible names once you include Common names that ewoks sometimes take.
