Evasive Footwork (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Evasive Footwork
Prerequisites: Dexterity and Wisdom 13 or Higher.
Your ability to read into people's intention is almost supernatural, allowing you to move deceptively in the midst of a battle. As a result, you gain the following benefits:
- Choose one skill from Insight or Perception. You gain proficiency in that skill. If you are already proficient in that skill, you gain expertise in it instead, which means your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make with it.
- Whenever an enemy makes a ranged attack against you, or place you inside the area of effect of a spell or trait, as a reaction, you can move up to your movement speed, potentially getting out of the enemy's range of attack.
