Three ethereal chains appear from the ground within range, and each fly towards a creature within range. The chains can target one creature together or several. For the duration, at the start of each of the target’s turns, they must succeed on a Strength saving throw, or their speeds are reduced by 10 feet for every chain targeting them until the start of the next turn, if all of the target’s speeds are reduced to 0 feet, then they are restrained.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd-Level or higher, two more chains are created for each slot level above 2nd.
