Ethereal storm[edit]

Rain that falls upside-down from rivers and lakes, water droplets that emerge from the ground, but calm winds and small clouds, you are in an Ethereal storm. A very rare type of storm that takes place both in the Material and in the Ethereal plane. However, in the Ethereal plane, the storm is not inverted.

Once per round, every creature in the storm rolls 2 D100s. If a creature gets two 1s, it is struck by lightning and immediately sent to the Ethereal plane if currently in the Material plane, and vice-versa. The creatures must also make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw, taking 3d10 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.
