One of Four
The Eternal Destruction, commonly known as the Lord of Shadows, is one of four extra-dimensional beings of near limitless power that preside over all universes. His only drawbacks are the same as his opposite: the lack knowledge about their origin; the inability for true future sight and the bored condition. He created the drawbacks to life and existence, a balance to what Cosmos made. Out of all the Eternals he is one of the most active in the lives of mortals, second only to the Eternal Space in his involvement. However, he is only known by his followers or followers of Other ‘Eternals’. His followers themselves number very few, however he is very active in the lives of these few. He also makes quite certain sure that his followers do not cross paths due to him being aware of potential repercussions.
Twilight Realm
The Eternal Destruction resides on the opposite shore of the Interlude is a land of constant change, the very coastline itself moving with the tides of Interlude. Interlude on these shores is liquid shadow that flows constantly, draining the light from its surroundings. The Twilight Realm is a dark mirror of many realities; buildings, flora, fauna and landscapes all constructed from billowing smoke. The only colours of this dark place are blacks, greys and reds. Sitting atop a hill lies a imposing tower of obsidian and ruby brick that stands above all else.
Burning Fog
The Lord of Shadows, being more known, relies upon the imagery of a cloud of dark smoke surrounded by flame. It symbolises his destructive (burning fire) and elusive (obscuring fog) nature. It is often found in the hidden places of the world, inscribed onto metal or obsidian plaques mounted in the darkest place possible.
A Chaotic Force
By his nature, the Shadow Lord is chaos. He loves to cause problems, or challenges for good people to see how they react. This makes him a natural patron for evil aligned Warlocks or Paladins, even if he isn't truly evil. When interacting in the mortal realm he takes many forms, often changing them every few years just to throw off people. But he commonly takes the form of a well dressed, tall man with either pale or charcoal skin, black slicked hair, sharp features and subtly glowing red eyes
Blessings
-Followers of the Destruction will undergo many changes to themselves, their alignment changing and fluctuating, becoming one of simple Chaos. Followers will also gain the ability to speak Knowtogue, a language that all creatures can understand, but if the listeners do not know knowtogue themselves (and this is very intended by the Destruction) they will take a d4 of psychic damage. Knowtogue can be spoken, thought, or groaned. So long as the user knows what they wish to get across the target will understand.
- Followers who have had to sully their hands in the blood of others and not find solace or happiness in the act of slaughter will find themselves slowly taking more of a shine to the act, becoming progressively more invested and satisfied in their work, bloodlust building within them, presenting a new urge for them to fight. All in their presence will know from a simple glance that there will be no restraint or mercy if they step the wrong way. The followers eyes will change along with this moral slip as they gain a constant, almost glowing, dark-bloody crimson color - their pupils becoming animalistic slits. Other creatures lose the ability to Look the follower in the eye, as they also find themselves severely unnerved by their presence if they’ve made a enemy of the creature. Should they force themselves to look into the followers eyes, they must make a wisdom save to keep from losing intelligence, the amount of intelligence lost starts at 1 and doubles as they persist. This effect does not take hold of a creature does not willingly look force themselves to look the creature in the eyes, Intimidation checks Also have advantage in your presence as you can bloodlust rolls off of you in waves.
A newfound blessing bequeathed of the Destruction, the ability to project their bloodlust into other creatures. This can be used A total amount of times as there are people to be affected to cause a small area (10 or less) to erupt in a bloody bedlam of chaos on a failed save. The save is Wisdom, and must beat 15, and in order for them to be able to tie you to the event they must make a flat roll and beat a 17.
