An ability score of your choice increases by 1.

Being within 5 feet of a hostile creature gives you no disadvantage on ranged attack rolls.

When you gain temporary hit points, enemies within 5 feet of you gain advantage on attack rolls. If you have temporary hit points and are hit by a spell that requires an attack roll, you gain 1 additional damage.

When you make an attack roll with a ranged weapon, you can spend one of your hit die from your hit dice pool to add half the default proficiency to the attack roll, you must declare this before making your attack roll and only once per round you can use this ability. When you use this ability you gain 1 temporary hit point.
