You have mastered the ability to fuse spells and use them in tandem with your physical combat. You gain the following effects:

• Any fire spells you cast do an extra damage die of cold damage. In addition, your fire spells resemble blue flame, but do not generate any heat.

• Any cold spells you cast do an extra damage die of fire damage. In addition, your cold spells resemble red ice, but do not freeze or chill anything.

• When casting a spell that requires or involves a melee attack, you may use your spellcasting modifier when rolling to hit.
