Although Einolotherium[1] descended mylodont sloths have not found the success of thalassocnids, the elephant sloth (Elephocnus "elephant sloth"), so named for their fleshy, elephant seal-like noses, are still highly successful and found in appreciable abundance in wetlands across the Known World, with a species in Ni’Khar’s northern rainforests, the Seridic wetlands, and Arvel’s lowland swamps respectively. Their legs, longest of any sloth in Kaimere, allow them to wade through the water with minimal effort to feed on the rich wetland vegetation, though with a faster metabolism than a thalassocnid they need to eat much more. Luckily, they are not as picky as their seagrass specialized cousins and are free to shovel whatever plants are available into their mouths. Variant:SakuurThe Arvelith elephant sloth (Elephocnus sakuur), called the sakuur ("hippo sloth") by the Kentarim, is the second largest sloth in Kaimere, being as tall but much lighter than the hukolgur in raw mass, with sows weighing two or three tons while an impressive boar can weigh upwards of six tons. A sakuur is a Huge creature, has a CR of 4 (1,100 XP), 94 (9d12+36) hit points, a Strength and Constitution of 20 (+5) and the following modifications to its attacks:
