Einarorðr

Martial Melee Weapons
Weapon Cost Damage Weight Properties
Einarorðr 3000 gp 1d10 piercing 77 lb. Heavy, Two-Handed

This weapon's the handle is made out of high-quality pine wood that could withstand pressures of up to 100kg before breaking and has been meticulously carved to look like the scales of a serpent. In the handle, there are 2 areas for proper grip of the weapon that are wrapped with animal hides. The snake head was carefully designed copying a real head of a dead snake and was firmly placed at the end of the stick to provide support at the base and look ominous. This pike's primary purpose was to allow the bearer to puncture chainmail to allow capabilities to fight against any foe The blades were designed to be as devastating as Einar knew how to craft. They were cast using 2 layers of iron, making them much more durable and tough, but also heavier than usually, allowing the weapon to break shields more easily and throw weak opponents off balance. Along the base of the blades were carved runes, Uruz, Thurisaz, Raidho, and Wunjo, into the runes was poured liquid gold to solidify them and make them stand out then from runes came lightning bolts to honour the power of Thor and represent the strength and might of every blow, after everything was done the blades were sharpened using a spinning sharpening stone until the blades were as thin as a string of hair and the pike as pointy as a star.

Expensive. An Einarorðr is a big investment of cash, much more than a suit of full plate. As such, a character can never gain this weapon as starting equipment from their class.

Weighty. Because Einarorðr is so heavy, you have disadvantage on attack rolls made with it, unless you have a Strength score of 19 or higher.
