Ed Kid[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

History[edit]

Born to be wild, Ed Kids are known for their greed and Hilariously over the top strength, along with the tendency to be called "Dorks".

Society[edit]

Ed kids often live in small communities, typically situated around the end of a street, referred to as a "Cul-De-Sac."

Ed Kid Names[edit]

Ed kids are typically named for some derivative of "Ed," but can be named any sort of common name.

Male: Ed, Edd, Eddy, Eddie, Edward

Female: Edna, Edele, Edith, Edwardine

Ed Kid Traits[edit]

A race derived from the powerful children of the Peach Creek Cul-De-Sac from The Cartoon Network Series "Ed, Edd, n Eddy"
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 2 and your Strength score increases by 1.
Age. Ed Kids live as Ed Kids for about 12 years. Afterwards, they are considered "normal" humans, with the strength they had as an adolescent, but not the durability.
Alignment. Ed kids tend to swindle others, or are prone to Violent outbursts, as such they are always some form of Chaotic
Size. Ed kids are tend to be short by nature, ranging from 4 feet to 5 feet tall. Your size is Medium."
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Speedy Greed. When promised with a reward, be it food or money, an Ed Kid gains 15 feet to their movement speed
Slapstick. Any bludgeoning damage deals d8 less damage
Instinctive fear. Ed Kids are very susceptible to fear, and can't resist said fear. Any wisdom save made against fear has a -2 penalty. When running away from a cause of fear, Ed Kids gain +10 to movement speed.
Languages. You can speak read and write Common.
Subrace. Foreign Ed, Double-D Ed Kid, Wood Ed

Foreign Ed[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Foreign Eds gain +2 Strength, due to being experienced with working on a farm
Incessant Rage. A Foreign Ed's yelling can intimidate even the most hardened of people. Foreign Eds gain a +4 racial bonus to Intimidate rolls. This trait replaces Instinctive Fear.
RETURN ROLF'S CHICKENS!. Foreign Eds can command poultry to attack foes, bringing them to a Fowl demise. They can speak with avians and other bird like creatures and convince them to do things for them with the starting attitude of such creatures one step better than the initial stage

Wood Ed[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Wood Eds gain +3 Wisdom, and -2 Charisma, due to having a source of wisdom that only they can hear, which makes them seem crazy to people.
Plank Says... A Wood Ed gains a item that provides insight into various situations. Only a Wood Ed can hear this source of Wisdom, which is typically bound to a piece of wood. in order to consult this all-knowing wood, a Wood Ed must ask a relevant question, and make a wisdom check to understand what the wood says, this functions as the spell commune.

Double-D Ed Kid[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Double-D Ed Kids gain +2 Intelligence, and +2 wisdom but -1 Strength, and Constitution, due to valuing knowledge over hilarity or strength. In place of gaining Strength and Constitution, the racial gains for a Double-D Ed Kid instead gains +2 Intelligence and +1 Wisdom
Intriguing... A Double-D Edd Kid can learn all manner of things via excessive note-taking and disassembling objects. Double-D Ed Kids gain +5, and advantage on all Knowledge checks, provided they rank in those Knowledge checks.
Jerryrig. A Double-D Ed Kid can craft many odd devices. Double-D Ed Kids gain Advantage on craft checks
