ENA (5e Race)
ENA[edit]
"Whie"
(Pronounced like EDNA without the D)
Physical Description[edit]
An ENA is a average sized humanoid with two different personalities (or two different people entirely), with half the body being one person and the remaining half the other. They have styles that match their personalities, for example, a very prickly and mean ENA half might have sharp and pointed edges with a more aggressive or monochrome color scheme, while a more mellow personality will have rounder edges and maybe gentler colors. Their body parts are usually disconnected and floating where it would be anyways, allowing for more mobility. They have different haircuts/styles on each side, and sometimes hats, with many varying styles, maybe a little one on only one side, maybe a big one that matches both, maybe an optical illusion so on one side its a bow and the other a top hat, who knows. They have sharp facial features with the eyes matching the personality.

History[edit]
Its unknown how these odd peoples came it be- were they always combined? Is it a curse? did they do it on their own? Is it more of a prison for you and the other, or did you find and make a life together?
Society[edit]
Whatever your characters believe, feel or worship. They are typically used as labor or simple tasks others don't want to do like messengers and disliked by plenty of folk.
ENA Traits[edit]
Two people bonded together into one body
Ability Score Increase. Age. An ENA typically reaches maturity at the age of 18 and usually die in their 100s, though they usually die in fights or mining incidents so their real limit is unknown.
Alignment. ENA has no definite alignment, they are usually neutral, but they range as much as humans would, some good, some bad, some just kinda there.
Size. ENA stand at around the same height as humans, though they tend to lean toward the tall side, matching elf standards while also sometimes being shorter than an average human. You are 4 to 6 ft tall.
Speed. ENAs walking speed is 30ft and sometimes move by preforming odd movements resembling dances, though they can control themselves and not embarrass themselves in the streets.
Multiple People. You are two characters or players in one body. If one has proficiency the other DOES NOT automatically gain it. If you take damage you can either: One player takes all damage (Only the player in control at the time), or both take half the damage. If one of you die, their eye turns into an X and all your damage, saving throws, ability scores and armor class is reduced by 5, half for the damage and saving throws. This lasts until you either somehow split from the dead body or revive them. You also take half the damage of the hit that killed them. You share some features and the others are split between players.
SHARE: Inventory (includes money, though you can split the money you both make if you wish), Armor class, Speed, Languages, Level, Knowledge (Unless the side that learns specifically hides it). Assume if its not on the SHARE list it is separate. You can ask your DM if you can combine them if you wish. Anything that you need clarification on, let the DM decide.
Switching Control. You both take turns controlling your body, the mouth is only on the side of the one currently in control. You take turns talking and can talk to eachother no matter how crazy it looks. You each have have your own turn in combat and each get an action as if you were separate people. If you need a saving throw only one of you have to roll and if you succeed or fail, the consequences of it go to both of you. If the DM wants they can have an entity visit, flashback or such happen to the ENA who is not controlling the body. In combat, you can roll to take control right before damage and take the damage for them or use an ability that would make it so you don't take damage.
Alternate Forms. ENA has something similar to rage, when they are below 10 hit points or feel ABSOLUTELY ENRAGED they crack and shift and crumble into a little ENA-monster, crawling around like General Grievous (You gain spider climb in this form) and attack with an extra die to damage, along with gaining attacks like bite, where your mouth cracks and splits your head open with sharp edges, like stone, and bite with a 2d4 damage roll. You faint afterwards no matter what, but if you die in that state you can keep going till it ends, and die immediately after. Lasts for 10 turns or one minute.
Duplication. ENA has the ability to cast Major Image at will, but you may only make a copy of yourself with your voice (All forms of your voice and self, not only the casters side).
Intangibility. Once per long rest you can choose to phase through an attack that hits before the DM rolls damage but after they roll to hit, you roll a dexterity saving throw, on a successful you take no damage from physical attacks and half damage from magical ones, and on a failed save half damage from physical attacks and full from magical ones.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write common and one other of your choice.
no random height/weight
